The foundation for everything we do

Purpose. Mission. Vision. Values.

Here we define the beliefs, direction, and standards that guide Marcus Sheridan International and the ecosystem of brands and companies that operate under its philosophy. It is designed to inform brand development, team alignment, and strategic decision-making.
Purpose
The reason we show up every day

Mission
What we do, for whom, and how

Vision
The future we’re building toward.
Our

Purpose

Communication is the throughline for everything in business and life. Every meaningful outcome—every sale made, every team aligned, every customer earned—comes down to one thing: the ability to communicate in a way that builds trust.

Marcus Sheridan International exists because most organizations fail at this. They hide when they should be transparent. They pitch when they should teach. They stumble when they should connect. And they lose trust they never had to lose.

We exist to change that—across marketing, sales, leadership, and the emerging AI landscape—one honest conversation at a time.

In one sentence:
"
We exist because trust is the currency of business, and communication is how you earn it.
"

Our

Mission

We challenge organizations to become the most trusted voice in their market by transforming the way they communicate—with buyers, with teams, and with the world.

In marketing, we teach brands to communicate with such clarity and honesty that they earn trust with the masses—humans, search engines, and AI alike. In sales, we train teams to lead conversations that build trust with prospects through better questions and radical transparency. In leadership, we equip leaders to communicate in ways that create trust, alignment, and culture—not just compliance.

We do this through keynotes, workshops, training programs, frameworks, and software—always grounded in real-world application, never in theory alone.

In one sentence:
"
We transform how organizations communicate across marketing, sales, and leadership so they become the most trusted voice in their market.
"
– Marcus Sheridan
Our

Vision

We are building toward a future where transparency is the competitive advantage, not the exception.

"
We see a world where the most transparent organizations are the most successful—and we’re the ones who showed them how.
"

At our core

Core Values.

These are not aspirational. These are non-negotiable. They define how we operate, who we hire, and what we refuse to compromise on.

"
The most transparent organizations will be the most successful – trust is the key to everything.
"
– Marcus Sheridan
01
Trust Is Everything

If it doesn’t build trust, we don’t do it.

This is the standard by which every decision is measured—what we say, what we sell, what we publish, and how we treat people. Trust is not a marketing message. It is the product.

02
Say What Others Won’t

We address the questions everyone thinks but no one answers—externally and internally. We publish what competitors hide. We have the conversations that feel uncomfortable because the cost of avoidance is always higher than the cost of honesty.

Inside our own walls, we practice the same caring candor we preach. If something needs to be said, we say it—directly, respectfully, and without delay.

03
Frameworks Over Fluff
Ideas are easy. Application is everything. Every keynote, workshop, and training we deliver must give people systems, language, and tools they can put to work immediately—not just inspiration that fades by Tuesday. If they can’t use it tomorrow, we haven’t done our job. And we never stop building. Our mindset is always: How can we turn this into a framework the masses can understand and apply? That process of creating, refining, and simplifying is constant—it’s how we stay ahead and how our ideas spread.
04
Lead the Conversation
(Even When It’s Hard)
Industries don’t change on their own. We set the standard for what’s next—in content strategy, in sales communication, in AI readiness, in pricing transparency. We’d rather be three years early than one day late. But leading means being willing to stare into the storm. Those who speak to the future will often be attacked for their ideas. We must be brave enough to share truth as we see it, even when it’s unpopular, even when it’s uncomfortable, and even when the crowd hasn’t caught up yet.
05
Contagious Energy
Anyone who works with us—on stage, on a call, in a training room—should leave with more energy, more clarity, and more belief than when they started. Enthusiasm isn’t something we turn on. It’s in the DNA of everyone at MSI—it’s who we are, it’s what people know us for, and it’s one of the most valuable things we offer. That energy transfers, and it changes the way people show up long after we’re gone.
