She has spent her career as part of leadership teams, helping grow and scale businesses while owning execution, accountability, and follow-through in fast-moving environments.

Jake Gates Ricablanca is a video editor and creative professional based in the Philippines, bringing a rare combination of academic training, artistic depth, and technical versatility to every project he touches.

He holds a BS in Mass Communication and a BA in Music Production — a dual foundation that shaped him into someone who thinks in narrative and feels in sound.

Before pivoting to video, he spent years as a college instructor, a freelance musical arranger, a sound engineer, and the creative director of an a cappella group, roles that sharpened his instincts for storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement in ways no editing course could replicate.

In 2023, he made the deliberate move into video editing and quickly discovered that everything he had built across disciplines translated with surprising force into the demands of modern content creation.

He joined Marcus Sheridan as the dedicated video editor for Marcus’s YouTube channel, where he has since gone deep on the craft of YouTube-native editing and channel growth strategy. Today, Jake works at the intersection of human creativity and AI-assisted production, staying sharp, staying current, and helping world-class ideas reach the audiences they deserve.
